MY WORK IN THE COMMUNTY

The photos on the left will give you an idea of the type of community based projects that I have been involved in over the years. To give one example, I was involved in no less than twenty local schools during my work for Grounds for Learning, an organisation that supports outdoor activities for children as part of their ‘Learning through Landscapes’ project.

In general terms my work has covered a wide range of activities including all of those listed below.

Development of land into allotment spaces
Opening of green spaces into gardens
Design of sensory gardens in schools and communal areas
Design and construction of raised beds
Mural design and construction
Creating trails, ponds and marshland areas
Creating live willow domes
CPD Packages for teachers on how to develop growing areas and whole school involvement.
Seating and lesson plans for outdoor work
Development and creation of biodiversity areas
Forest school projects
Development of vocational activities for schools
Organising art or craft workshops
